Plasma Cutter Torch Height Adjustment Dial
"Set AVC" dial allows for LIVE height adjustments anytime the torch is cutting.
AUTOMATIC TORCH HEIGHT CONTROL
 Tracker's AVC Automatic Torch Height Control System combined with our unique Auto Plunge function makes Tracker's dual function torch control system the best.
At the start of every object to be cut Tracker's Auto Plunge function will lower the plasma torch until it touches the material. It will then lift the torch off the material to a user specified distance. At that point the plasma torch will fire, complete the cut, then lift up & move to the next object to be cut. The advantages of the Auto Plunge function are:
  • Accurate, adjustable plasma pierce heights every time for every part.
  • No need to specify material thickness for each plot, Auto Plunge always knows what height to fire.
  • Plasma torch is raised up after each cut to clear tipped up parts, fixtures, etc. using 3.0" of Z axis travel.
  • Increased consumable life due to accurate pierce heights.
  • Accounts for material warpage before every cut.

After the plasma torch has pierced, Tracker's AVC Height Control takes over to maintain the perfect distance at all times accounting for material warpage and irregular surfaces. The ability to maintain consistent plasma torch height is extremely important to maintain maximum cut quality and tighter tolerances on your plasma cut parts. At any time during a cut, the torch height can be adjusted using the "Set AVC" dial located on the control center's front panel. Live adjustments allow you to tweak your torch's operation for maximum cutting efficiency & finished part quality.
